Pentalog has succeeded in increasing its capital, reaching more than 90% of capital ownership by company employees.
Three Moldovans, 17 Frenchmen and 17 Romanians, who are either employees or company representatives, now collectively own more than 90% of the capital. This result is unique in its kind, given the size of the company.
Among all the newcomers to whom the operation was addressed (the employees who entered the group before 31/12/2005 and a few exceptional personalities who have joined us since then, but before 01/01/2008), 52% have agreed to the proposal. This is remarkable.
We are extremely proud of this result which honours us all: those who decided to open the capital, those who decided to participate for the first time in their lives in the capital of a company and play an even more active role in its destiny. I would particularly like to salute the few people who have got into debt in order to take advantage of the chance that they were offered.
Thanks to the effort of all these people, we are now going to increase the number and size of our European and worldwide operations.
With 5% of shareholder employees, i.e. 12 more shareholders than before, we have associates in all our European centres. I can ensure you that I have always wanted to go even further, but, for numerous reasons, like our employees’ lack of financial culture (even though we are working on this
) and the defense of senior shareholders’ interests, I can ensure you that it is not so easy.
In offshore countries, the type of situation that can be found in our company is unique in its kind. The Romanian-Moldovan participation exceeds 6.25% of the group, without taking into account the 22.5% of our PeopleCentric branch which is owned by people who initially worked for Pentalog. Overall, approximately 1.5 million euros of Romanian-Moldovan capital has developed within the extraordinary group of people that I am fortunate enough to manage.
This result is both ethically and commercially enriching for the company. 40% of project directors, who are in charge of our customers’ projects, are company associates, as well as 66% of directors of offices where their projects are taken in, all department directors and as many as 10 project managers out of the 50 current project manager positions, i.e. 20%. As far as offices are concerned, Brasov of course benefits the most from this offer, as it has the greatest number of courageous senior employees. It is followed by Bucharest and Iasi, both with the same number of shareholders, and by Chisinau and Sibiu, which have the same number of shareholders, as well.
I would like to congratulate everyone and thank you for your trust in the company.
